Energy - higher supported by cheaper dollar, API gasoline draw - DOE reports today. September crude oil is trading $1.15 per barrel higher to $87.80 compared to $86.65 yesterday at this time. In Europe, Brent crude oil is trading $1.26 higher at $110.34 compared to $108.89 per barrel yesterday. The U.S. dollar is weaker against most global currencies which is supporting commodities. The energy market has rallied enough to begin challenging if we are in the bear or bull market. Today’s energy reports may be the catalyst to move us in either direction. Overall, declining economic health globally will become a tough challenge for energy bulls. Asian energy consumption growth is a challenge for energy bears.
