2012 Central Valley Seed

As the 2011 fall harvest is beginning to wind down, it is time to start looking towards 2012.  It is important to look at your seed needs early.  There are many reasons to consider seed early, but two of the main reasons are to insure you get the hybrids/varieties and seed size you want, and to capitalize on early season savings.  Central Valley Cooperative offers a strong line up of seed hybrids and varieties.  The brands we offer include: Dekalb, Croplan Genetics, NK, Asgrow, & Mycogen Seeds.

Our agronomists attend multiple training sessions throughout the year, in order to stay up-to-date on new varieties & hybrids and changes in the seed industry.  We pride ourselves as being industry leaders regarding new agronomic and seed information.  By utilizing data from our replicated plots, side-by-side trials, and the Central Advantage Program, we have a strong understanding of each of the hybrids and varieties we offer at Central Valley.  Our agronomist will not only help you select a strong seed line-up for 2012, they will also help you place each variety.  By properly placing hybrids or varieties, according to their characteristics and the characteristics of your fields, you can achieve better crop performance and potentially higher yields.  Contact your local Central Valley Agronomist to set up a meeting and discuss your 2012 seed needs, and be sure to ask about the new Central Seed Selection Tool!
